Its the toggle switch in between my defogger light and my fasten seatbelt light.

What does that thing do???

Not factory, so who knows? You'll need to trace the wires and find out.

hmmm that kind of makes me worry a bit.

When I toggled it I head a mechanical noise behind my seat that would go for a bit then stop then if you switch it the other direction it reverses it. whatever it does...

idk Ill have to give it a check tomorrow.

It might be rewired power for your antenna.

When I got my car I didn't know what "that noise" from behind me was either. I think my toggle switch was factory though.

Antenna? Maybe since it below the stereo, this is just a guess though

If its the antenna switch, then its broke but I hear it doing something still and it has a point that it travels to and then stops for sure.

The nylon spool is broken in the antenna. Very normal. The motor runs, but that's all.

My antenna switch looks like that, but the lever moves left and right. It's a generic switch installed in an OEM insert. I presume the original switch fell apart.

Does anyone have a pic of an original switch? Just curious what mine used to look like.
