Hls300220

Featured Replies

Just looked at 1969 model HLS3000220. The car was an absolute basket case. It was so rusted that I could hardly tell the original color. The engine must have been rebuilt at some time because it had an E88 head. He's taking it to the crusher tomorrow. It was late and dark so I didn't get any other numbers from the car.

I hope you went over and pulled the early parts, quick steering knuckles, non/vertical defrosted back glass, seat belts, core support corner plenums with frames, unshrouded map light, short seatbelt hooks, console/ashtray, shifter assy&boot, door hinges, gas filler door/lock, coat hooks, center dash vent, front rotors, reardust shields, and the rest.

I agree. No matter how bad it may look I'll bet there are still some decent early parts there. I can help someone put together a list of items to look for if anyone is interested.

Sorry Will....It was on the back of a flatbed tow truck and he wanted $350.00 for it. My wife would have killed me if I had unloaded it in the yard. Believe me it was nasty....inside and out! I mean rotten!

Just give Mike directions, he'll drive over and get the parts off.

If I'm the Mike your thinking of, the directions would start with ... head east for about 4 days... since I'm in Seattle and I assume the car in the VA area. :D

If I had known about it several days before, I'd have hoped a plane, rented a car, and bought some tools!

I missed a bunch of early parts in Virginia once. I think it has something to do with the water.
