More pictures of HLS30-00032

I took a few more picture of #32 today as I was putting the new carpet in it. The whole car is amazingly rust free. Here are a couple of pictures of the floor, the rear deck, and the original spare tire. The brown colored areas on the drivers floor is dried glue for the vinyl and velcro strips.

That is amazingly clean...

Don't let Kats see the picture of that Spare - - - Does #32 still have all its chrome Z's in place?

Mike, I'd love to see this car in person, please tell me you've decided to bring it to Canby...

Hi Carl, yes it has all of its original metal emblems, even the metal hood emblem. The two quarter window emblems are the solid chrome Z's, the rear deck has a hollow chrome 240Z and a solid Datsun emblem. I've never seen a solid rear deck chrome 240Z emblem so maybe they were always hollow?

I'll add some more pictures of the car as soon as I get a chance to take some better ones. Maybe Canby? Still debating whether to bring it down this year or not Arne.

I second seeing it in Canby. But if not, I'm sure us SeaTac area guys could get together over the summer.

Here is a side view after I swapped the stock steel wheels and hubcaps for the Shelby Viper (Libre style) wheels from my 72. I like the look of the D hubcaps, but the ones it came with were like new and I can't drive around on those. I also found a set of the NOS Shelby center caps and I think they really finish off the wheels nicely.

They look good Mike. Off topic: Three Z's and a new 'Stang? That's a nice little collection.

How's it goin' Filipe. Your car is fantastic as well. It is I; the splashpan man from Australia.

Truly, the jewel of Seattle! Beautiful car indeed. The Shelby Viper wheels look great. Good score on the center caps. I agree, save the D caps for showing her.

Hey Mike,

Take a look at my old 240Z emblem, it is some type of metal and pretty heavy. This one came off my very first 240 that I bought back in 1983...It was a 1970 model, but can't find any old records as to the VIN#

I assume this was from the factory, can anyone verify if it is.

Take care,

Randy
