Tomorrow is a big day in the land of OZ.

The 26th of January is Australia Day, a public holiday. Practically every City and town in the country will be celebrating with activities, entertainment during the day and fireworks at night.

The All Classic Motor Club, of which I am a member, has been invited to display our cars at the Rockhampton Heritage Village tomorrow. Should be a good days outing, even though I have to travel about 80 klms round trip. I know there'll be a 240Z there plus my 260 and we're hoping for a 280 to complete the series.

I have a 2ft. x 3ft. Aussie Flag attached to the radio antennae. Hope it doesn't snap off.

I'll take a few pics and post them when I get the film developed.

Hey Rick, maybe you could tie your flag to something other than the radio antenna!! You are probably aware how difficult they are to find replacements for if you do happen to damage it.

We will be having a quite, but traditional day with a BBQ tomorrow night with friends and a few quite ones - too old for full strength though!

G'day Rick and good to hear the day went well for you yesterday.

On the matter of Fosters I think that the name is slipping as the iconic Australian beer that it became known for during the seventies and "The Adventures of Barry Mackenzie". It particularly seems to have slipped off its perch lately since it withdrew from most, if not all of its major sport sponsorship. I am not even sure that it is still made in Australia and I cannot remember the last time I saw it on the shelves in Australia while at the same time it was relatively freely available from liquor stores when I was last in Wyoming.

I do not think it is shunned by Australians so much as just not really there to be chosen as soon as my last Coopers has been consumed - pray lord that the latter event does not occur and that Coopers remains safe from corporate takeovers.
