I was also wondering if using this coil with petronix 1761 ignitor module could cause any harm in the near future:

This coil has a 0.7 ohm resistor insted of 1.5 ohms of the former coil. Either way im always using the 1.5 resistor

Im buying the heat gun today so i can give you the readings. Just wondering if the new msd and pertronix 1761 module with 1.5 resistor setup i posted could damage the module.
