Unless the PO cut the wheel wells you would only have to patch the holes made by the screws/bolts/fasteners. Painting extra. Good looking car.

Sure, just undo the bolts behind the front bumper overriders, turn them the right way up, and put the bolt back on. Then theres that non standard side mirror, the holes from that will have to be filled.

Other than that the car looks great. :)

(p.s. Ok i know you really mean the flares. Why would you want to remove the Nice factory ZG flares? Just buy a z that doesn't have them. If they were fitted properly, ie. to allow wide wheels to used, the guards would have been cut out, which means an expensive time at the pannel beaters welding in new wheel arches.)

zhead240: when I go to zcar.com, I find the classified ad, but I don't see a picture there. I think that I've had this problem with zcar.com before. Can anyone post the pic here so I can see it?

Thanks Will!

Thats a nice looking car! Photographs well anyway. Definitely looks like the the bumperettes are on upside down, and from the looks of the tires and wheels, I'd bet a Happy Meal that the sheetmetal has been carved to allow them to fit. Also looks like there are no center cap on the wheels. Description says 8" wide Front wheels, and 9" wide Rears.

But, still it looks like a very nice car. Need detail pics of the "standard problem area's" though to know for sure. "No rust to be concerned with." $hit, IMO any rust should be a concern (to a greater or lesser extent). I sure wouldn't ignore it. Wonder how bad the "issues" with the new paint really are?

wouldn't opening the hood give you the hint that the bumper guards are upside down?looks like they'd rub.

My 73's are on upside down, bought it that way, the hood doesnt rub, I'd like to flip them but I can just see the studs snapping off as soon as I attempt it.

Someday I'll get brave and turn them around.
