Factory mags.. are not truely factory..

HOWEVER... they were dealrship offered... soo.. if you bought a Z you could buy one new with "mags" that many people mistake for "factory mags" but they were dealership installed

i just got some silver 15" rewinds mounted on my '71 240z and they look sweeeet. I also got some new tires to go with them (Radial T/A - 225/60/15). im having an issue however fitting the Konig center caps on the front wheels

I have falken ziex 512s on my neon right now, in 205/60/14. The foot print is not as wide as an equivalent would be of yokohama es100s, for example. They aren't very sticky, but do last for a bit. I've been running them since august.

if you can spend extra dough, I'd get es100s instead. I have those on my Z in 225/50/15

I seem to recall reading somewhere that the front caps can be put on if you install the center caps before mounting the wheel.

Check Trys_hards gallery I think he has those wheels and mentions the front caps in one of his pics.

That won't work on my 14" X 7" Rewinds. I'll be getting some "Knockoff" style spinners to replace the Konig centers anyway.

Those are 14x7. I have not seen any 15" rewind pictures posted yet.

Fixed the problem today. The dust caps were sticking out too far so i used a hammer to knock 'em in a bit and the caps finally fit. Ill post the pics soon, they look great with the new tires.

Took a few pictures of my 240 with the new 15" Konigs. Better pictures to come soon. Check it out at my gallery once the images have been approved.
