I got a new backyard pond (well, it was there for about 2 hours...)

The main drag was flooded so we got a lot of traffic down our little side street going to nowhere.... (water was actually coming out of the storm drains onto the street...)

Flood waters took out 3 cars in about 10 minutes... (all anyone had to do was slow down to make the pass... )

Took the plugs out of one guy's car and it looked like ol' faithful..

Hopefully Tidewater Z Service made out okay as Isabel did a number down there not even a year ago not to mention one of my '78's is down there having new floors and floor supports let in.

If that isn't enough the Mustang GT is parked in Homosassa, Fl. but, it looks like it might be okay as long as there is no large strom surge.

Is it just me or is there more severe weather on a continual basis? Just over two years ago I happened to be at ground zero for the tornado in La Plata, Md. (thankfully no Z cars were involved just an Altima) and I sincerely hope to not have to see one ever again.

Hey All , thank you very much for you concerns and care , me and the wife are both well and safe , no damage to my house or immidate neighbors but a block or two away got hit kinda hard , just got power tonight , GOD I LOVE A/C . Got a generator and that helped us get by. You wouldn't believe how nuts it is here , ice shortages as well as gas shortages and lots of areas that will be with out power for quite awhile. gonna post a couple pics of some houses and cars that saw the bad end of Charlie

You would think that, in a disaster of that magnatude, everyone would pull together and get the job done, but some people have so much more of the selfish gene, they can't get enough help, so thay take it at everone elses expense. Not the kind of people you want as neighbors-and truthfully, neighter do they.
