Lucky sods... one day I'll see one, one day. Would you say they're similar in size to the 240Z? They look about the same, except lower. I love especially how the windscreen wraps around, and continues down the sides without a body-coloured windscreen pillar getting in the way.

They look like the same size in this photo, but I always thought the 2000gt looked a little bigger than the zed.

Great pictures - just great. I found what I was looking for - Brian Long; "Fairlady to 280Z", page 42 and 43. The Yamaha A550X and the Toyota. Long gives Goertz credit, but from other literature I have read, it's a stretch.

That is a pretty good book. Actually a great book. It is very imformative and I love the section on the Rally cars.

Wasn't the one in "You Only Live Twice" a convertible?

I thought they had a 2000GT at the Fremantle Motor Museum, but I was wrong, or maybe they moved it.

This thread got me enthusiastic. I went digging through lots of old photos.
