The media dung beetle is still pushing this big ball of crap! http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/News/articleId=117485 "BRUNKENSEN, Germany — Albrecht von Goertz, the legendary designer and German aristocrat, died on October 27 at age 92. Goertz was responsible for the design of such classic automobiles as the BMW 507 and the Datsun 240Z, as well as such well-known industrial designs as the Mont Blanc fountain pen. As an associate of Raymond Loewy and later as a New York-based freelance designer, Goertz designed furniture, cameras, appliances, boats, apparel, musical instruments and other products for such clients as Agfa, Custom Craft, Fuji, Polaroid, Puma and Rowent…

I have just spent the past three weeks touring Northern and Central California (SF, NAPA, Lake Tahoe, Monterey and LA) and Nevada (Carson City and Reno) and only managed to spot 4 Zeds in the whole time I was there. The funny thing is that I spotted them all on the same day (January 6th) in the same area (Calaveras County). I dont think there was anything was on as only 1 of the 4 was actually driving anywhere (the others were in driveaways.) Unfortunately for me I was unable to make it to MSA for a bit of shopping but I am sure that the Missus was glad that the traffic was pretty heavy which prevented us the time to get there. Biker

Just wanted to let everyone in on a Tax preperation website. www.taxslayer.com It was recommended to me by a close friend who has used it the past few years. The wife and I just completed our taxes on their site using the online version. You can also pay to download it. It is 100% FREE to Military and only like $9.95 or something for non-military. It was a breeze to use... Nate

I post this only for posterity-this ZX (deserves to be bought for parts, then crushed while it still has some dignity:mad: ) has a different kit on it, one that I've never seen before, and thought should be shared. I'm building up a collection of videos and DVDs about favourite car movies; The kind that are either based on cars or heavily involve cars. You might call it a "Top 10" thing but I can't think of 10 yet. My list: Gone in 60 Seconds (1974) Gumball Rally (1976) The Hollywood Knights (1980) American Grafitti (1973) Vanishing Point (1971) Gran Prix (1966) Smokey & the Bandit (1977) Bulitt () The Great Race(1965) Corvette Summer(1978) Maximm Overdrive (1986) I've seen Blues Brothers listed on some web sites, but I consider that more musically-oriented than car oriented. I haven't seen all the 2Fast movies yet, and I'm not really that much into rice. what would you add…

Check this auction out! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/DATSUN-2000-Roadster_W0QQitemZ140076199643QQihZ004QQcategoryZ33617QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem This is the description: The Auctioner : wroughtdog1 (87) 97.8% So is the Auctioner selling the option of calling him to HAGGLE? Or is this a uniquely blatant way of using the e-bay auction board as a bulletin board to advertise without paying much? Sounds suspiciously like another "dog". E<!-- End Description -->

Interesting article on MSN Money.. Link http://articles.moneycentral.msn.com/SavingandDebt/SaveonaCar/20waysYouWasteMoneyOnYourCar.aspx?page=all Paste: By Des Toups "Cars make us irrational. We call them our babies and lovingly wax them every Saturday -- or we turn up the radio to drown out the sound of a dragging muffler. Either mindset will cost you money, sometimes a lot of it. Walking the line between obsession and neglect means you never spend a nickel without a good reason -- and good reasons can include spending money on something that’s not broken. Here, then, are 20 ways you waste money on your car. Premium gas instead of regular. Buy the cheapest gasoline …

No, not the famous orator, a guy or gal trying to sell me an EFI harness or possible scam?? - I received the private message through this club. Is it acceptable to have solicitors contacting members directly trying to flog goods? The person has 0 posts. Thoughts or :paranoid:
