My name is Jeff. Located in North San Diego county. I've restored multiple muscle cars over the years - mostly 68-70 Camaros. I owned a240Z 35 years ago and want to have some fun working on a Z car now - my garage is empty and I would like to fill it back up. I hope to find an un-restored, or older restoration need of a refresh. Preference is to find a running car (or close to it) with all/most of the car all there. I have a Datsun factory comp transmission # 32010-N3130. It's not the dog leg style box. This is the close ratio one with ratios as follows: #1 2.906 #2 1.902 #3 1.308 #4 1.000 #5 0.864 Here is my long story made short. I acquired it from the original owner who purchased it new from Far East Datsun in Hockory NC in 1975. I have the original receipt. ($ 924.00) He installed it into his 240z that was totaled in the early eighties. I purchased it from him when the car was parted out and

Hello all, This is my 5th 240Z over the years. Actually thought I was done with them after sold my track-prepped RB26DETT ‘73, just too raw to drive, with rollcage and gutted interior. BUT less than one year later itching for a street trim Series 1, not a fully restored one since I want to enjoy working on it in increments. This 10/70 build has very solid bones - chassis, frame rails, floorboards, tire tub - although have some rust on the common areas - dog bone, lower fenders, hood, hatch sill

I have 76 Datsun 280z that has been switched to Holley 390cfm 4bbl. I purchased a new Bluetooth 123 distributor and installed and wired it according to instructions. It will start but backfires and runs erratic if you bring the Rpm up. I’ve seen several you tube videos of the exact same problem but have not seen any on what to do to fix the issue. Any ideas out there?
