Looking to get back into a project Z car

Featured Replies

My name is Jeff. Located in North San Diego county. I've restored multiple muscle cars over the years - mostly 68-70 Camaros. I owned a240Z 35 years ago and want to have some fun working on a Z car now - my garage is empty and I would like to fill it back up.
I hope to find an un-restored, or older restoration need of a refresh. Preference is to find a running car (or close to it) with all/most of the car all there. Maybe a car that someone has lost interest in...

In any event, I look forward to learning more about these cars and hopefully contributing to the forum.

Thanks.

Any input or what year Z or what options that I should consider or stay away from?
Engine type, transmission type, etc.

Any generalized ideas of pricing for:
1) any year 240Z in driver condition that needs some attention. Not interested in numbers matching car.
2) 1975-80 280Z in driver condition?
