Factory Compation Transmission Value

Featured Replies

I have a Datsun factory comp transmission # 32010-N3130. It's not the dog leg style box. This is the close ratio one with ratios as follows:

#1 2.906 #2 1.902 #3 1.308 #4 1.000 #5 0.864

Here is my long story made short.

I acquired it from the original owner who purchased it new from Far East Datsun in Hockory NC in 1975. I have the original receipt. ($ 924.00) He installed it into his 240z that was totaled in the early eighties. I purchased it from him when the car was parted out and it has been setting in my garage since. I had planned to ues it in a track car I was working but decided to go with a G-force box instead.

I would like to sell it but can't find any comp references of past sales. I would really like to have some openions as to it's value today. Thank you in advance.

Your "competition" would be the S30.World 6 speed, I'd say. Theirs has an extra gear and newness, but yours has originality and ease of install.

$4270 + $250 shipping = $4970 https://shop.s30.world/product/nismo-32010-rrs50-reinforced-6-speed-transmission-to-l-series-conversion-kit

Or, "$924 in 1975 is worth $5,786.85 today"
