  1. I also have set of five original 7/70 14x4.5 wheels and five original early D caps. $0.99 starting bid with no reserve. https://www.ebay.com/itm/395339301397?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=5G4X1CyJRI6&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=5G4X1CyJRI6&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  2. Sold for asking price. The car will most likely be stripped for parts for some early restorations at a Midwest Z shop. Not sure what they do with rusted out shells, my only guess is cut them up and store the good sections. Is anyone interested in a set of five 7/70 4.5 wheels and early D hubcaps that need restoration? There are assorted date sets on ebay right now.
  3. Relisted on ebay with lower reserve auction ends tonight. https://www.ebay.com/itm/394899092023?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=5G4X1CyJRI6&sssrc=2524149&ssuid=5G4X1CyJRI6&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY Quote

  5. HLS30-07631 on the auction block. Bidding starts at $1.00 with modest reserve. https://www.ebay.com/itm/394871508806

  7. I wish I had my milwaukee rated for 1400 ft lbs. This $45 Chicago Electric is rated at less than 250 ft lbs. I successfully mounted the front wheels, but the cheap impact literally shook itself apart on the rear lug nuts and didn't break a single one loose. I added another application of Kroil to the rear lug nuts. I'm going to return the impact gun tomorrow and buy the next level Bauer, rated for 400+ ft lbs.
  8. I tried busting a couple dry rusty lug nuts with a tire iron last weekend, and failed. I'm going to keep the wheels and hub caps. I sprayed the lugs/studs with Kroil earlier today and picked up a cheap electric impact gun because I can't find my cordless Milwaukee during the move. If I am successful, she will be listed on ebay with the bead blasted slotted Shelby mags and new tires.
  9. Most of the engine bay plastic is peanut brittle. But the interior isn't half bad besides the floors, with a crack free dash.
  10. A little news. The L24 is seized. I pulled the Champion plugs in order to spray the cylinders with Marvel Mystery Oil. At first the plugs looked pretty good, but #4 and #6 snapped in half unfortunately. Now I need some advice. I'm sure some spark plug particles fell in the cylinders. And if I try to remove what's stuck in the threads, more pieces will fall inside. I suppose the only next step would just be complete engine disassembly/inspection, but obviously I will leave that to the next owner and most likely sell it with seized, matching numbers L24. Any more advice would be appreciated.
  11. Some fresh bead blasted Shelby Cal 500 slotted mags with new 195/70/14 all seasons.
