  1. I've been fighting a wobble in my steering for a while on my '78 280z and took my wheels to be balanced again. One wouldn't balance right so two of the wheels stayed to be looked at by wheel repair man. Now I know that the rear diver side wheel is bent and the front one is bent less badly. I have the 5 slot aluminum wheels that I believe were offered as a dealer option so I'm not exactly what wheel I should be looking to buy. So, if anyone has been through this sort of situation any advice on how to fix the wheels / what wheels I should be looking for to replace mine.
  2. Mint condition 1979 280ZX dash, along with door panels that are in great shape. Included are the lower dash panels with courtesy lights, steering wheel, spare tire cover, center air conditioner vents, radio mount, fuse box cover. Zero cracks. A rare find, with analog Quartz clock, chrome trimmed door pockets, cigar lighter, stereo surround adjuster. Wiring harness is intact, and complete. Both defroster ducts included, pictures only show the one, but both are included. Door panels are in great shape, solid with no tears. Spare tire cover has a few blemishes, but is very acceptable. Discoloration in pictures of dash and A/C vents is cleaner that was drying. Right side lower dash panel with courtesy light was drilled for alarm system, but is not seen when mounted since its on the bottom of the panel, vacuum selector switch on left panel is also intact. Give me a reasonable offer for all.
  3. In the hoard, I found I have a 12-69 rim. It has some rust, as shown in the pics. It is an early rim, so Is it worth $60 shipped?
  4. Good day. Have an older set of "slotts" for my 240Z and need center caps. My opening measures 3 1/8. Contacted Motorsports and they have a set with 3 3/16 opening (plastic material). Motorsport Rep did not know if this 1/16 inch difference would make a big difference. If they did not fit and I broke one trying to get it on - Motorsport would not accept a return on a broken part. Therefore, I will turn to the pros here: does anyone have any "educated guess" on whether these caps will work? Are caps available in "metal" instead of plastic? Or is there another place to order caps? Thanks, David Jacks Fort Worth, Texas 1972 240Z
  5. Hey I've got four original wheel covers for my 240z. They are in perfect condition, and i have taken them off the car to keep them in good shape. I'm thinking about getting different wheels for my car so how much do you think i could get for 4 perfect original wheel covers.
