Hey all you fellow Z fans. Im finally back after this great summer. Hope everyones projects are coming along well. Ive been keeping busy with my Z and she sha'll soon be on the road, but nowhere near done!. Im starting on the interior structure this week, i started cutting out the floor pans and just purchased the metal that will takes the rust's place. I have finally have the nose done, all welded up and ready for the fenders to be mounted. Engines running smooth and im starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel. Only one problem i have run into. I need a hose that goes from the AFM to the throttle body (1976 280z) . Would Victoria british sell this item? right now i have black duct tape taking its place and i would really like that to get out of there. I have been using the spray on truck bedliner for most of the undercarraige and interior and i must say it was well worth the money spent. Anyways thats my update since i havent been on the site for awhile. Im Looking forward to everyones ideas and inputs again!

the picture on my avatar is my old Z (was for restoration) she is now with the rust gods. EVERYTHING was rotted on her as i got into it. I picked up a 76 cali 280z in the town next to me. I have stripped down to just about nothing. Its mainly welding and lots of $$ before i start to re-assemble her. She is very solid and i want to to do it right instead of just throw her together. I guess as the years go by working on her ur motivation dies out a little and u just need a jump start. although she isnt much now i have big big plans for her as time goes on. Another thing i need is patience :-P

jeez u guys really know how to get me up and running. Great Z dude, sounds awesome.... We're gettin hammered with rain now... wat am i gunna do!

thanks guys! believe it or not i pulled her out today and got crankin on her ( shes still far from driving condition) That disgusting new england winter hit and i wasnt able to work on her, so I just needed a jumpstart i guess. Thanks again! ill keep all informed!

i have one aswell... i found it stuffed in the visor when i purchased it my 76 280z.... never really looked into the value but its a pretty nifty thing to have!

if it works by hand maybe its not sitting on the lobe on the cam properly.

Alright ive been tryin to sell this stuff for ages now. Im tempted to just give it away hahaha. Its goin cheap, this list has extended since the last repost so if ur lookin for anything for a 240z dont hesitate to ask. Prices are looooww plz buy! i also posted in classifieds but people dont tend to look there as much as the front page. I would really like to get rid of the L24 as all it is serving for me right now is a massive paper weight, and i have enough of those. The l24 is titled as 33500 original miles, dash read 50k miles however. help me out here! :-)

totally off topic... but i just love ur Z Doug... every time i see ur avatar i have to bring up ur gallery and just look at it .

doesnt look right the 300zx body lines dont seem to flow with that body kit... maybe its just me but i would much rather have a stock 300zx than that....

sorry to hear about all ur problems man.... but from what ive heard Holly 4-barrel carbs are no good on Z's. Some have managed to tune them properly but ive mainly heard complaints about em. They dont deliver fuel to all cylinders properly, i believe its because of the design of the intake manifold. If ur lookin to get rid of the SU's ill GLADLY take them off ur hands :-P im lookin for a pair to swap out my Fuel injection with.

hahaha yes i have Z parts in my room aswell... whole entire wiring harness and a bunch of other stuff. i have parts EVERYWHERE imaginable

well im no wiz with computers.... but i know a little. You most likely got a virus of some sort... maybe a worm, and it destroyed an important .exe file. If u can get ur computer to start up and go to the start menu, try running some anti virus software if u have any... preferabley norton anti virus. If u cant work around this problem and cant fix it. You may have to do a system restore if u have the restore disks, often they can be found on the internet tho. Try also running AD-aware SE or 6.0. good luck! ill keep checkin back to see whats happening
