Electric Defroster for the rear glass
OK so if I went to the effort of obtaining once of these for my Z I would want to keep it in great working order. Isn't it incorrect cleaning that causes them not to work in the first place? I've been considering one of these in my Z but I don't know if it's worth while. Do you think anyone would attach the required filament to a blank window? BTW kats I don't think you should regret your purchase looks like it's working ok considering. Bit weird having the stripes vertical instead of horizontal thought

432-R
You must like this one alot Alan. What number was this one? Also was it around the 400 mark for 432's in general or 432R's? What I'm asking is in total how many of the 432 variant with the S20 powered engine were actually released?

Still nice all the same the wheels really work I think they wouldn't in polished form it's just as well there darker. Can you enlighten me on the difference in indicator color Alan? Is the clear one on an earlier car? I know that my 72 carries clear turn signals at the front but my old 73 had a division of orange and clear.

Z kid i wasn't impressed with the weld job on this side of the car. It's just a bit rough maybe im harsh but if I had that machine I can assure you I would have made sure it was a little tidier still each to their own.

You are not seeing things it's a 432 spec fairlady Z meaning it has an S20 engine. 4 valves per cylinder, 3 Carbuerattors, 2 Camshafts. and it was 2.0 litre 6 cylinder also.

240Z in movies
I thought same thing Will I think it's also an E-Type I have all 3 on DVD so if someone can point out exactly where I'll have a look . I like the Jeans with the crashed Datto I want a set . Funny how so many Australian's have a stigma against the old Datto's???? Funnier still is the fuss they kicked up at Bathurst when the Skyline GTR's won. Too many Meat heads who like v8's.

At the moment I think a picture is a 1000 words as im in a hurry and will disect what you just wrote later bruce. Here is a shot of my engine don't know if that help much. I had a set of British SU carbs on one of my z's I will take a photo of them to show you I don't know much about em' just they were not as good for tuning and seemed to not stay in good tune.

I think i found the new car that i actually like!!
Great Advice Lance, infact the very words i live by if I can't afford it don't buy it till I can. No loans . Not jumping on Lance's bandwagon just think he has good advice but i also don't know your financial situation either so.... Anyway I guess 1 reason I like the Z so much is I can afford it. Well sorta and if I can't I just don't drive it for a while. :cheeky:

I was under the impression that the eariler ones were 3 screw and later ones were 4 screw? Also ClutchDust if your carbs were replaced by the British SU's then they are a slightly different carb as Bruce stated and from what I've read from the Ztherapy website they were not as good quality. Personally I'd love to order a set of SU's from Ztherapy but after converting to AUD$ it's not worthwhile I'm better off buying the video only and say the SM needles then trying to build my own Ztherapy set in Australia.
