  3. oh i do recall seeing a rotor button for the distributor an electronic one from a 280zx which was on my car at one stage. Rotor Button - Mitsubishi Possibly other distributor components.
  4. Kats out of curiosity do you have a picture of what an original battery looks like? I'd imagine nearly all would no longer have the original one. By the way I can't add to that list.
  5. read here http://www.geocities.com/zgarage2001/ Under cylinder heads it's all there. Probably one of the best sites around.
  6. I was under the impression all the exhaust manifolds were the same except for that of the P79 head which had rounded ports i believe they should all fit. The intakes are all the same for every year to my knowledge. Can you explain why you say it isn't fitting? Gav
  7. Most were scared off due to the poor weather apparent in the photos however we had a good day and the drive was unreal through the mountains. To those who didn't show don't be shy and come along next time we are hoping for a better turn out. :cheeky:
  8. I've finally got the pictures up of our second meeting 2 weeks ago. www.viczcar.com/photos.html then click on second meeting link. Enjoy. PS: it's in flash so it might take a while to load for non-cable modems but it shouldn't be a problem for cable users. I am thinking of making a html version also. Let me know
  9. excellent post thanks Michael, i was almost disheartend until I saw the bullet ones at that UK place Ref # CME16 about halfway down and there so cheap also. I will more than likely be getting a set soon. :classic: Not sure if i will mount them on the fenders as the door will have holes left but maybe further down the track
  10. now I'm confused after reading all that. I noticed too that you mentioned it was a 69 Z but I was reluctant to mention it was more likely a 70 as I didn't want to get into the argument. I had seen 0004 myself and it was perfect even with the layer of dust on it at the time. I think you must have the cars confused somewhere along the line. I'm not having a go at you many Ozzies believe that they have a 69mdl and it's become a standard thing to say the early cars are 69 cars but from what we had discussed a year or so ago it appears that the first 240z into Australia which was test driven by Australia Journalists was a 70mdl. I know all you wanna do is sell the car however it may be better to advertise as it's number rather than year. As we are all fairly certain it isn't a 69mdl however it's your call and good luck. :cheeky: Why are you selling it BTW? You gallery said you were gonna paint it etc..
  11. http://www.zcarparts.com/store/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=OM03 These are the ones I want and you could mount these on the fenders according to MSA.

  17. Yep I'm yet to pull one completely apart so I have no idea. I have never read about these though if that helps i think a photo would be the best in this kind of situation?
  18. How about this 1. NVADUN 6 letters and it stands for NEVER DONE.:cheeky:

  20. Hi there I believe in constructive criticism so here i go. Ok the page looks fine the newspaper layout is original enough for me and it definately has it's appeal. However as Mr C was pointing out the load time is pretty awfull and i'm on broadband here. The other problem is the delay from when i move my mouse over each item to it highlighting. I don't know if this is anything to do with Business or if your doing it for the fun of it. If it's all just for fun and a non profit website then i wouldn't worry about it. However if your trying to attract users and get people to take an interest in the site etc. I'd suggest changing a few items most importantly load time. Otherwise I would like to say i like it but I'm only downloading 1 video at the moment so we will see how it goes. We are all still learning and I'm not perfect either so don't get me wrong it's just i feel you are asking for opinions and I'm giving one. At the moment i am reconstructing a webpage myself and will post here when it is complete I am more than happy for people to add comment.
  21. Anyone know what it costs to ship a motor to Australia :classic: .
  22. Yeah seeing as you are in America you are lucky enough to be able to get ZX Turbo's so why not put one of those in. However VG30's have been done but it would be an expensive exercise as Stated.
  23. I too have caught the bug for these cars. I don't know a whole lot about them but I do think they are seriously cool. I envy Victor he has a nice clean Z and Roadster both looking very pawn . I am not sure about the SU's as a standard item however I could be wrong.
  24. Although you have a regulator in there it may be possible it is not being used? The only reason i say it might be a ZX unit is because of the green outline around the cover of the item I have a ZX unit here at home with the same color however most have faded and look black now so it's hard to tell. I should point out i may be completely wrong just something worth following up since your going completely original in all departments. Gav
