Ozlime, Around 150 HP plus or minus is pretty good for a L28 at the rear wheels. To get more then that needs a little more dialing in and you have to do some port matching , balancing and a few other things. What is your compression ? Get those carbs dialed in and those nubers should be around 150.

I have heard of one guy using the 200SX turbo rear end and Eagle 4 wheel drive front halfshafts as a bolt in to the Z. I wish I would have kept that post. Steve, Your are killing me with this post. I would love to come down and watch races at Laguna . Unless you are in a large BMW , Porsche, or Cobra club chances are you aren't getting on the track. They even gave the US Touring Cars grief with the sound levels I heard. My friend did attend the Mini Cooper event they had there last year and he has some great photos of his car coming down the hill.

I really like the add they used on the website when they were introducing the new 350Z about a year and a half ago. It was set to music and showed the Z plates and them making the original Z, also showed its racing heritage. I should have saved that one to file

I would be affraid to take my car to the strip. It so darn slow off the line I bet I couldn't run any better then a high 15 low 16 with it. luckily they handle well.

I still not crazy about the 350Z, but I didn't think the 240Z was all that cool when I was a kid. Infiniti's G35 Coupe looks better and has the same running gear as the 350Z. I guess it will have to grow on me
