I was reading some of the coments that you have all said..and I thought why not. So this morning i took a look at my block. Now this seems very odd to me becuase the man i bought my 240 from says that this is the origonal engine. Yet there is an E-31 on it and it is a 1972? could have been a replacment, I just don't understand why someone would put an older engine in this car.

ya i recently bought a ferrari kit car :classic: sometime soon i need to find a strong chassis to put it on and some time soon ill have my own ferrari. I also just bought a chevy 350 big block. Rebuilt the engine and put a bunch of money on it, when car is finished i will check the horse power, I'm guessing about 420. but i still enjoy driving my Z.

Ya, I own when i was 10 my dad bought me a 1964 mustang convertable, not in the best shape, but got me into it. i eventually paid him back and today im 16 and it is the fastest and best car my family owns. just recently my friend bought a 1972 Z and i helped work on it with him for a couple of weekends. Now i am desiring a Z. My dad owns a Z as well, but im not allowed near it, because it is a souped up car...we're not sure which is faster but we always joke around.

so if the compression is higher after i oil them...do i hafta replace anything?

how much for the rims z_boi? do they look nice?

How would adjusting the valves mess with the compression?

Having trouble finding some rims for my 73 240...I dont have too much to spend, but am looking for some nice chrome wheels. any tips on where to look?

Checked compression and there are 4 cylinders at 160 psi, and 2 at 60 psi. Any tips for that? is that worthy of a more expensive engine re-build or can i do a cheap individual rebuild?

does anyone know where i can get those plastic peices for interior and how much?

I have a rust problem under neath my hatch..its the panel on the rear of the car. There is bubbles of rust. Should I just buy a new panel or how can i fix this? and also do you know whats under that panel, havent grinded at it so i dont know if theres rust down there too.

Theres one more way you can fix electrical problems..invest some money and buy a new wiring harness. but thats pretty expensive.:classic:
