took delivery of my 72 zed exactly 1 year ago today. the ad said " needs nothing". it's stock with a few nicks and minor dings but all original, even the paint. paid it off last month. should have bought one years ago. i'd say it's a 9/10.

i got the steering wheel shake which i didn't have when i put her away. after driving for a half day shake went away. someone suggested flat spots on tires from sitting was the reason. had to get the tires round again.

got the zed out of storage today. first turn of the key and a few pumps of gas- no go. second turn and hold gas to the metal- fired right up!! not bad for sit'n for 173 days. she's purring like a kitten and running like a swiss watch. i'm happyer than a gopher in soft dirt! last tuesday we got 2" of snow and they put the salt trucks out.:mad: snow gone the same day. thursday we get an all day rain:) to wash salt away.

i thought i was color blind. it looks like baby poo yellow to me.

u got a great deal even with the sunroof. jk. any 240 with the minimal amount of rust u describe for just over 5 grand is a steal in my book. of course u cali guy are spoiled and expect a lot more for your bucks. rust is the major issue when buying any car.

it's only natural to give condolence to a prominent member's famiy. it would never occur that someone would fake their death for profit.we only found out because someone posted a link to Zcar.com forum about their dealings with him.can't fault anyone for their condolence after the facts. jm2c
