Z 432 At Rm Auction Amelia Island
The crowd sounded rather sedate. Did they get excited over any other cars up for bid?

Smoking At Speed
Do you or your friend have a GoPro? I watched video of my car shot from someone with a GoPro and saw how bad of an exhaust leak my car had. I also learned about exactly how bad the body roll was. See for yourself (and put it on 1080p). https://youtu.be/k6xXvITd6Rk longer video https://youtu.be/k6xXvITd6Rk

240Z Serie I Color Wiring Diagram
Thank you, Chas. I double-checked the wiring diagram and it agrees with you that the hazard flasher has a blue/white wire. I appreciate the proofing.

240Z Serie I Color Wiring Diagram
Chas, instead of assuming I'm right, point out what the differences are so we can double-check. With as much of an exercise as it is to do this with CAD or Visio, I admire the work done by our engineering and draftsman predecessors.

240Z Serie I Color Wiring Diagram
Okay, all of this talk about color wiring diagrams got me to update my old blog post on the Hazard/Turn Signal/Brake Light circuits. Since several of you are in the mode of error checking, please send some of that love my way and review my drawing for errors. https://fiddlingwithzcars.wordpress.com/2013/01/20/hazard-switch-brake-light-turn-signal-circuit-analysis/ Thanks!

Thank all of the knowledgeable people on this site & zcar.com who taught me the proper terms. I've learned a lot by reading posts here and there. Using Google to find what you need is easy after that.

Interior Plastic Protectant / Cleaner
I think I remember where this conversation went when it was on the old mailing list... "Hey, Honey, where is the vaseline? I need it in the garage to try something I read about online." I wish I could provide original attribution.

73 Front Bumper Options
I bought mine from Harrington Group because the others weren't available at the time. If they had been, I would have gone with the chromed instead of stainless steel. I still have to mount the rear bumper on the 74.

73 Front Bumper Options
I did the conversion last year. I used the Harrington Group bumpers, but the mounting points should be the same on the Futofab bumpers. You'll need the 70-72 brackets. https://fiddlingwithzcars.wordpress.com/2014/01/20/installing-the-front-bumper/ https://fiddlingwithzcars.wordpress.com/2013/06/29/rear-bumper-install-73-240z/

Yutaka Katayama, 'father Of The Z' Nissan Sports Car, Dies At 105
Experts should never ready any media (including social media) on the topic of their expertise. People will always conflate the myths and falsehoods with the truth. It gets mixed well so that you can no longer distinguish one from the other. While I hear the tales being told and know they aren't completely true, I can smile and enjoy them nevertheless.
