    If the Z was aluminum you could forget paint and do what this guy did. I had to have my sunglasses on.

  11. I read where one person thought vintage racing was just cruising around on the track. Well its a little more competetive than that. Here is what happened to a local driver at a July 2002 vintage race. Things can get real expensive quick. These have unibody like a Z car and are tough to repair.

  15. There is another option I was recently reading about. If you can find a Datsun 810 or Maxima L24 flywheel, it is 17.6 pounds compared to the 24 pound Z flywheel. I have not done it myself. Just passing on info.

    To answer your question. Yes, the rear studs are longer. And yes you can put them in the front. We did that to my Z.
