Thread back from the dead... I don't know if I have an R200.. or an R180... I have a 1978 280Z with an automatic tranny.... so my differential.. i dunno.. i think it's an open R200

also I forgot... the Fastback.... "hatchback" style 240SX's are based off of the 180SX body type.... and the flip up headlights the coupe or "regular" body style with a seperate trunk or none 3rd door.. is based off of the 240SX or Silvia. The main diff. between the normal coupes in America and Japan/Australia/Europe is the USDM has flip up lights... elsewhere it's fixed lights.

did I miss something? I don't see any images on his cardomain site...with any 240SX's (S13) only his 240Z (S30) in restoration... ? I confused

No, I don't... I didnt have a camera with me at the time... and it happened at about 3:00pm, so I got my car home by then it was about 4:30pm and I live about 10 miles away from where it happened. By the time I got there it was too dark and I couldn't see. So the next day, Monday... i went out to take pictures.. but the snow melted... over the day (I had to go to school) and it was too late. SO no pictures.

But.. here is what SHE said... I was doing doughnuts and 360s in the middle of the road and because she was on snow/ice she did not have enough time or distance to move out of my way. So my insurance company thinks I was doing doughnuts at the time I was in an accident, which is a lie. Weirdly enough, people believe her over me... which is really driving me mad. The police were supposed to come and look at the accident and investigate, but because both of your cars are somewhat drivable and we were unhurt, the police did not come to investigate due to the high accident alert in the area. Therefore, it's my word against her's.

I would like to thank all of the CZCC members who are offering to help me out.. and letting me know about the parts they have found or have. I will have a meeting with an "estimater" who will evaluate my damage and figure out how much it will cost, what my insurance covers, and how long it will be. So, after that meeting, I will know if I need any parts for my poor baby. Thanks, PrOxLaMuS©

Full story.. I felt like typing it Here's what happened... On my way to a closed road... (new neighboorhood with no homes just a road) I saw my ex girlfriends Dad.. in his BMW M3... I turned quickly to avoid him and I waited a few minutes and then got onto my road. I guess He called her and said i was with a new girl. (we broke up 4 weeks ago) She still loves me so she got mad.... and naturally very jealous I was in the snow.. for a few hours goofing around in the snow for a while.... doughnuts... slides... drifts.. etc Then on a straightaway... I look up and it looks like she is barreling at me sliding in the snow... headon... I turn the wheel.... and I get my back end out and I was going well out of her way. Then her passenger side hit my car.... on my passenger side and we spun into each other and messed up our rear quarter panels... she went off the road and almost hit a concrete slab for a constructing house. I got out of my car.. and saw.. $^!#.. that is my Ex girlfriend... I walked up to her to ask if she was ok.. and she said... "who's in your passenger seat?" I said.. my GUY friend Ashton.... why? She said leave me alone.. stay away... and that's it... that's the story.. Did she do it on purpose? I believe she did.... (Dont forget this is a CLOSED ROAD... no traffic... qawincidently she was on the same road I was... same place... on a closed road... I think she was stalking me... or trying to find me... and when she thought I was with another girl... boom... she snapped.. and may have lost her mind for a minute or two.. and hit me)

damnit... weirdly enough.. those pictures... are the same side.... showing my once perfect car.... now my smashed up front end... Notice my once seemlessly perfect shiney chrome bumper.... Freshly waxed.. (every 2 weeks I wax) scracth free and dent free >fender and headlight scoop.... my beautiful... pain in the arse headlight cover.. shattered and missing. Why god why! P.S. I need a passenger headlight cover! Help!

Is this repairable? How much will this cost me? I was thinking around $1,500 dollars and alot of work. I need a new: Headlight bucket Headlight cover (1 side) Repair in rear quarter panel Side Marker Front Side Marker Rear New Paint Bodywork New Front BUmper New Front headlight Headlight Bulb Bumper Shocks Front Valence New Hood Hinge Maybe more.. I dunno, I am in disbelieve... hours after I took the pictures... I had to take new pictures... just on a different car than I remember now

How here is what is looks like at 4:00PM today....

Well... Today, while I was on my to the store.... (i wasn't drifting) and what do you know, my ex girl friend is on the other side of the road. It's in Colorado and several inches of fresh snow was on the road. She lost control and slid into my car... damaged the front fender and the rear quarter panel. Here is a picture if my car this morning at 10:30AM

Drifting is not racing... Drifting is an "art" or judged based on your speed coming into a corner.. your drift angle... your show (such as your hand out the window)... lots of smoke... Basically it's a competetion.. who can make their car do the wildest thing imaginable and still have decent control over it. However, there are HIGH SPEED drifts.. which involve racing.. and going way to fast in the corner, but by keeping your momentum in sliding through the corner... What is it? Just fun.... Try drifting your car and see how much fun it really is... just like sliding around like a rally car, just on concrete rather than dirt or snow. It takes practice and skill... but it's all for fun

i am really good with fiberglass..... just usually to lazy to do it.. plus it's too cold in my garage here in Colorado now... but ZmeFly.... Is there any more pictures that you have of your setup from a different angle? I wanna see! Ah damnit! I just looked at your personal gallery again! I am soo jealous of you You have my ideal dream car RB engine.... sweet interior... Unbelievable interior... I love the steering wheel and the shift knob. Truthfully after I first saw a picture of your interior I searched and searched for that exact steering wheel, it looks so damn good. I love your car.. I love it .... It's so sexy.. I am going to cry now in pure envy
