  1. Very nice. So epoxy, filler, epoxy, light filler, 2+ coats of high build and sanding/blocking. Are you planning on a separate sealer coat after the blocking? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Why don’t you live near me?? We have so much in common... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I was a distributor for a brief period while I swapped out all my fluids on the 370Z. Great stuff and works awesome. Good backstory on the company too, as it is a family kinda businesss rather than a huge oil conglomeration product. I never had to enlist new people or anything, just paid for a distribution agreement and got a 30% discount basically. I picked up the oil from their warehouse in Edmonton. Easy peasy. Never thought it was pyramid scheme, but it might operate differently in the states than here.
  4. I doubt they'd let me take'er out lol!
  5. Cool, so you won't notice when i steal one of yours!
  6. The driving is pretty tough here right now. The streets are covered in ice and snow, the temp is below freezing and the car is set up for summer driving. Not a great time to make a driving video.... They haven't tuned this engine to its fullest and are using a spring wastegate boost controller, so there's room for improvement. Glad to see it went for 18K. That's a pretty good price for a CDN car ($24,000 Cdn).
  7. I have the horn button (see first posts) just missing the insert really...
  8. Thanks, I hadn't seen that.
  9. I’m an old dog, that looks like a new trick...
  10. You guys know he has a thermal imaging lens on his welders mask to monitor panel heat build too eh?
  11. I have never found Whiteheads to be more reasonable than the exchange and border rape...
  12. Looks like they come with the new gaskets too!
  13. Well he does have a ball bearing system on that rotisserie so speed is an option.
  14. Ongoing collection of parts. A package arrived from MSA Friday. $500 USD equals $1000 CDN by the time exchange, taxes and shipping eat my wallet. - Received a full 10 piece sewn and molded carpet kit - full roof liner and vinyl trim kit - leather shift boot - leather ebrake boot - floor mats - rubber gas flap - rubber gas door and door handle bumpers - ebrake boot screws The list of items I still need is getting smaller.
  15. Well, you know what you have to do now.... detective.
  16. And who owns that project now?
  17. He probably has 14 pages of engineered drawings he whipped up over lunch one day...
  18. “Some assembly required...”
  19. Are you saying I need to be gentle on my transmission with your old stroker? [emoji1]
  20. Welcome! Post the build date from the drivers door frame. It will tell us which version of 76 you have.
  21. The fact that the car is in Canada means that a prospective local buyer may spend more here as there will be no importation costs or hassles. A local buyer will be hard pressed to find a good 240 for sale anywhere local. That being said, you're absolutely correct Zed, the car has definite flaws. They are at least being honest in showing them in the pics.
  22. I know the shop that is selling this car and they are reputable. Some really nice cars have come out of there. I would expect to see this one go for $25 - 40,000 USD... depends on the mood of the bidders!
  23. Here in Edmonton! Nice condition car on BAT https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1973-datsun-240z-106/?utm_source=transactionalemail&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=bat_model_notification
  24. Nice! Start a build thread in the “builds” section so your ad doesn’t get polluted.
