GTR C110 1/18 Model
The only other models I have are 1/24 by Fujimi from Japan that have to be assembled. I have a pic of these but don't know how to attach it here. Nick.

GTR C110 1/18 Model
Lachlan, you must have been the one bidding against me on ebay last year for the one in the case. I've since got the model but without the mag wheels.

Thanx 2many, They don't seem to have what I'm looking for. Maybe they will produce it sometime in the near future.

GTR C110 1/18 Model
Are there any 1/18 diecast models of the GTR C110 available from Kyosho. I have a few of the KPG10 in both race & street models & want the C110's as well. Nick.

RB26dett in the 350z
It's been done a few times in Japan, click on Coung's pic for 1 example, & I was mearly stating that alot of members get upset when they see a modified Z (not that they complained about the engine) & voice their negative opinion. It seems that this guy has run out of money but come on guy's, don't rub it in.

RB26dett in the 350z
I beleive that very few from this club really know what the RB26DETT is capable of in any car, Couong is 1 of them. He is also 1 of very few that actually appreciate the time & effort that others put in their pride & joy as opposed to putting S**T on just about every modified Z that appears here. Maybe alot of the members here would have greatly appreciated it if this guy with the 350Z had stuck a L6 in it.

Injection system
I hope this will answer a few questions. These are available from D.C & O Injection here in Australia. These particular type of T/B's are a little different from the ones available from EFI Hardware in that the housings are only 1" wide (without ram tubes) & they have no injector ports. The EFI hardware type are also available from D.C & O. In order to get this set up to work I had to make my own intake manifold by doing a cut & shut on a standard L6 EFI & a tripple webber manifold. In doing this it utilises the original injector ports & it also gives more room between the LH strut tower & the intake set up. The price for these was around $900AUS + $? for the accelerator stoppers & joiners.

I'm currently working on a set up for myself. See pic in my gallery, (Multiple TB's). If anyone can upload the pic to be viewed by others on the thread, please do. Nick.

Clutch Suppliers in Australia
As per normal Gav, everything is the same as far as spline, flywheel bolt pattern etc goes. Nick.

Clutch Suppliers in Australia
Hey Gav, Are you interested in a lightened flywheel (about 6.8 kg from memory) it's been balanced together with a R31 pressure plate (more clamping force) & has a R31 clutch plate which is 240mm in diameter as opposed to 225mm standard. This give you more pad area. I have the whole set up with new clutch plate & new bearing for $395. Nick.

Suspension questions for Aussies.
Mr C, I use Noltec all the time & I've never had a problem with there stuff, I have there catalogue & prices handy & I'm sure the will post Aust wide. They are in NSW & have a website (www.noltec.com.au) or ring 02 9980 9777. As for trying to fit a 260Z station wagon rear sway bar on a 240Z, no chance, you'll have to go with an aftermarket type like K-mac or Whiteline. P.S. Noltec dont make the D bushes dor the sway bars. Nick.

Travel to Australia
SuDZ, I had a R33 GTR but sold it to fund my 240Z project but never fear my friend is here with not 1 but 2 GTR's, a R32 & R33, & I don't see it beeing a problem for him taking you for a drift around the block. Nick.

Travel to Australia
SuDZ, I actually live in Wollongong & I'm only 10 min away from the Uni. It would be great to see a fellow classiczcar member from overseas, so when you get here, look us up. Nick.

help regarding RB20 concept!
The RB20 head won't go on without major work to the water galleries. These need to be welded up re-drilled otherwise you will have water entering the cylinders. The other problem is that the combustion chambers are too small & the compression would be too high. The head to use on the RB30 block is the RB25/RB26. If anyone is interested, I have brand new RB30 turbo blocks @ $450ea & also have a RB25 head with most other bits to make a RB30DET. Nick.

L6 Engine Calculator
Pin height is 31.6mm & dia is 21mm, they have to be the SOHC not the DOHC VG30, the later have a 22mm pin dia.

L6 Engine Calculator
I should have been a little clearer on this. Dome pistons won't cause any problems, providing they don't hit anything on the way up. What I meant was not to have the crown of the piston too high or too low (that's the outer edge of the piston). Brett, I cant see how your pistons are not hitting the quench area of the P90 head without having allot of chamber opened up or a thicker head gasket? You're certainly on the right track though, the bottom end combination is a good one but don't like those pistons, especially when they are poking out the top like that. I would have gone with a lighter & shorter skirt design piston like the SR20, VG30 or even RB30. These allow for less friction & reciprocating mass, & we all know what that means, less drag in the engine & quicker revs. But you have already achieved most of this Brett by using the longer rod. 152kw@wheels ain't bad at all.
