  2. Read this with a little heart and my words will reveal the ''HONOR''
  3. On mine with 13'' rotors at all corners, two pistons PBR's at the front and one piston PBR's on the rear, has a Cardone rebuilt booster for an early Z and she stops on a dime
  4. Hubristic , a syndrome that is present here frequently,,,,,so that makes me part of this '' club ''
  5. hls30.com.....................Honor this marvel of a car as what it is , in the sense to bring back into the position it held in the market at it's debut, but in today's automotive world . I ask...........is it wrong to modernize the performance of a Z
  6. not an S30 Z but a relative, yes the mud flaps are coming off, got her for a song she is clean,98k miles, 5 spd, rides nice and tight
  7. Yep, the LS1 is an L engine= acceptable LOLLOL:laugh:
  8. Gary, that is math manipulation, and that is OK. I ask......what is wrong in honoring this marvel of a car by updating it's drive train, today 150 hp and rear drums are obsolete none fun factors. I like old school but also welcome a well thought and well done update on a classic looking sports car. I invite you watch any of the Barrett Jackson Auctions or similar venues , there you can clearly see the moneys that are exchange on complete blue chip restorations, even exotics with modern guts. At times the so called modified brings more $ than its out of the box twin
  9. The Jay Leno ,Orient Style..................wow what a treat
  10. Welcome to Z Land. Let the addiction and the mod bug , be with you
  11. Just came to my attention that this lime Z(400hp) that appears on the opening page of the forum , was not mention on this thread, it is a well executed car with no regard to money, and the Z name was never ignore on the comments it generated .............that is all. Just a simple observation on my part. BTW aint she a pretty Z
  12. http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/content.php?r=180-World-s-best-Datsun-240Z-resto-mod......So to some this baby is not a Z......
  13. YEP. , priorities for the Z's, there is something we want, don't need but must have, need's it but it can wait, will make it fit/work,we stored it and can not find it, sold it but now need one,pay to much, sold to cheap, and so it goes

  16. this little Z's are commanding a premium http://www.ebay.com/itm/Franklin-Mint-1970-Datsun-240Z-/271032877559?pt=Diecast_Vehicles&hash=item3f1ad181f7#ht_480wt_1160

  20. more power is more power.......................................LOLLOLLOL:pirate::pirate:
  21. 26th-z,,,,,,,,,,I see your point and value the note, Z's have been modified/customized from the get go, each of us gives its car that unique touch , some like the look of a out of the box,no mods and that is OK. To me hub caps are an instant replace item, the Z to me is a canvas, make it yours and enjoy it to the fullest . This marvel of a car is not to be compare to an exotic sport car, they are a nostalgic icon. My ''no secret handshake'' 72 Z , is a work of art, with an all aluminum LS1,6spd,a killer stance,A/C and in every outing she gets the WOW.........
