I think that's what Stanley wanted to hear. Thanks Rossi for replying. You have a solid car and enjoy driving it. I like that!

Head held high!
EXACTLY! Thank you Greg. Absolutely nothing to with politics but everything to do with crazy hypocritical nut jobs.

Head held high!
The 1st Amendment of our Constitution expresses a separation of church and state. We have this nut, Roy Moore that has defied that his whole career. He loses again and again, rejects our Federal Judge's orders and makes a fool out himself. It's very well known around here he uses the Bible to benefit himself. Well he LOST an election, again yesterday. I'm done, back to the Zs.

Modified SU carb needles for L28
Ztherapy puts SM needles in their rebuild kits so I assume those are good all around. @rossiz has SUs on a 2.8. Maybe he can offer some insight?

I like the Johnny Cash version.

Engine Cradle???
Yes two screws on one side and two on the other. Holds together better, tighter feeling.

1972 240Z Manifold Heat Control Thermostat
Took a steel rod and inserted it into the inlet bung, popped with a hammer and the top pressed in brass piece popped right out. Put everything back together and put it in a vice and pressed the brass top back into place. That top brass piece with the four holes is sort of angled on the edge and fits snuggly into the housing. You're right, the small threaded rod doesn't hold it together (I don't think). I unscrewed it from the top brass piece expecting it to come apart but nothing happened. Then I used a rod and hammer. I'll get some better pictures in a bit. Cliff

1972 240Z Manifold Heat Control Thermostat
Damn, you hit me with a buck shot of questions. Let me get better pics tomorrow and maybe you can answer those yourself. I've been painting which in laymen terms means drinking. Beer in one hand balances out the brush in the other. I'm liking the rental house now so maybe a grown-up move into the nicer house is in my future. Can't live in my stabbin' cabin now the stabbin' has slowed down to a stab, drips and drabs.

Guess what these are and from what engine?
I like that better than the crows foot 17mm I use. There's always one or two it hits the next one on and I end up using a open end & tap it with a hammer.

Guess what these are and from what engine?
Now we have to get all snobby and start wearing penny loafers.

Engine Cradle???
I used 2x6 all the way around and the oil pump wouldn't sit right. 2x4s worked out fine.

Engine Cradle???
I put steel rollers on mine from Lowes. https://goo.gl/images/hQHj9E

When a 5 letter word for various visuals is six letters it takes a bit longer.
