  1. Our main page is pretty full these days. Does it have too much content? Should we think about making it simpler with links to other parts of the site?
  2. Isaac, Go get your Bachelor Degree. You can use that your whole life. Hell, get it in something easy. Just so you can have that piece of paper. I know it sucks that companies judge you based on that degree, but, it's the best way to put a filter on something. Get your Bachelors in something technical, but, do it. Especially if your parents are behind you. My parents didn't care what I did. So, I started my own company. I eventually went back to college, but, it's not the traditional format. I've had jobs at our local University and it's a complete blast. I would give anything to go back and do it over. I would spend some time in the U, banging girls and having fun. But, don't ever forget why you are there. You'll also gain life-long friends at the University. It's hard to go back when you're older because most people get behind the ball. Ie: Kids, wife, big house, debt, and other stuff. It's so hard to sit still and study. Believe me!! I'm 32 and just now finishing.....
  3. Also goes to show that a car like that isn't necessarily set up for racing.
  4. It's all taken care of... your local sysadmin has done his job. Now there is little to no evidence of a spammer. By the way, payback is a bitch. His server should be down about now.
  5. Yep, it's a hot dog. I like her grip.
  6. All done. What a jackass. Why do people do that ?

  8. Thanks for looking in on this one, Carl.
  9. Maybe the seller doesn't know what they are doing... Or, maybe they DO know what they are doing and haven't posted the firewall pict. In any case, this deserves some research by the buyer. Only thing we can do is tell them how to go about verifying all this info.
  10. The yellow is the best part!! That is an excellent Zcar and I'm sure it will sell for under $15k. He's got a lot more into it for that... I can tell you. I've got over $10k into mine and it's just a unibody with doors and fenders. And some pretty cool suspension. heh
  11. I almost had this done to my Z. But, I didn't know how it would work. Have you (or anyone else) seen the slide back sunroof installed on a classic Z?
  12. My god.. those wheels are fugly. Must be for sale by a girl. All kidding aside, the car looks like it's in great condition. Those wheels aren't doing it any good at all. Find a set of cheap mags and it would sell for a higher price.
  13. Guys, I've asked Carl Beck to jump in on this one. I just sent him the link to this post and it's got me curious as well. It's ok to be wary of these things, but, also remember that a dash can be replaced as well. The numbers that matter are probably on the frame.
  14. The straps on the bottom of your seat might need to be replaced if they are stretched and old. This will give your seat less of a bucket feel and raise you up a bit. You can get the kits just about anywhere. The one that comes to mind is sold by datsunrestore.com.
  15. The gallery images (new ones) are updated every time someone sends in a new image. That block shows us the latest 6 that have been uploaded/approved.
  16. Upload this to our gallery. It will be added to your own album and stored in our database. The link will work, but, if you change servers in a few years.... we won't be able to see it! [m]
  17. Good one. :cheeky:
  18. Not sure if I'm leaving the USA. I don't even know if Australia will let me in. I need to make some decisions about stuff. Nonetheless, they shut down our local office and I now have a choice to make. Move or get a new job. Steve, I'll still tell ya you need a new bumper no matter which country I live. :cheeky:
  19. Depends on the arrangement. Restoring a Z in AUS will cost me twice as much. Then again, storing it would raise the price of my restoration (paying for storage).
  20. Thanks for the link. Looks like VIC is more slack about this. You can register and drive it normally if the car is greater than 30 years old.
  21. The vinyl top is actually in your microfiche. Take a look somewhere in the end of the package. I've never seen one of these. Was this a stock item?
  22. Where are the engines located? Does someone have to pay shipping or what's the rest of the deal?

Considering that it's 2:30am and I can't sleep... I figured all of you could benefit from some of my late-night recipes. And, feel free to add your own if you wish. These are best eaten when you're half asleep. But, they are GOOOOOOD!! Pickles-N-Peanut Butter - Pull out a jar of mini-mini-mini-dill-pickles (crunchier the better). - Pull our a jar of creamy peanut butter. - Get a long teaspoon (for the peanut butter). - Get a fork (for the pickles). Now, stand next to the counter and use the fork to pull out a baby (mini) pickle. Take a small bite. Chew slowly. As you're chewing, use the teaspoon and swipe a small bit of peanut butter. Put that in your mouth at the same time. Enjoy. Repeat as necessary. Possible additions: Milk. Sauerkraut Sammich - Toast a slice (or two) of whole-grain bread. - Pull out a bag of shredded mozzarella (or shred yourself). - Put a nice layer of mozzarella on the bread. - Nuke the bread for 1 minute (or until melted). - Add cold sauerkraut to the top. Using a single slice of bread, fold it in half to keep in the juices. Double slices of bread you can make a normal sandwich. Possible additions: Milk. Give some to the dog who's probably sitting next to your leg about now.
