  1. I'm not cgsheen but I'm pretty sure the depth comes from the clear coat. Gives it that wet look.

Of all people, this guy should be smart. Didn't want to look weak though. Now he's 66 and has COVID-19. https://www.cnn.com/2020/10/02/us/notre-dame-president-covid-trnd/index.html https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_I._Jenkins

There's a new guy on the list. Nicholas Luna, Assistant. They're not showing the president of Notre Dame on this list, since he's an outsider. I wonder how many donors and golf club members have it now. https://www.cnn.com/2020/10/04/politics/trump-circle-covid-cases/index.html
  4. Koni's web site is surprisingly bad, as far as finding technical information. It doesn't even have a search function. Google says that there's something about bump stops on this page but it's buried in a question somewhere, apparently. Good luck. https://www.koni.com/en-US/Cars/FAQ/

There's only one outcome that will make people believe that he actually has/had the virus.

I hope that somebody is planning for what might happen. His meds are pretty serious. The steroids are drastic last measure stuff.

Humor. Attendees paid from $40 for a single ticket to $500 for “gold host” status, which included two meal tickets, priority seating, and “special host recognition”, meaning that they would be hosting the COVID-19 coronavirus. Senator Ron Johnson personally infected each guest. https://www.thedailybeast.com/gop-sen-ron-johnson-went-to-oktoberfest-party-after-testing-positive-for-covid-19
  8. Congratulations. If it still has the old braided hoses you should change them all, especially the ones over the engine. They age and crack and split and squirt fuel. It's easy to do,the injector hoses actually just press on. Procedure described in the FSM. I had really good luck with the Airtex E8312 pump. No problems, about 30,000 miles, many years. Bought it at OReilly Auto. https://www.amazon.com/Airtex-E8312-Electric-Fuel-Pump/dp/B000DT7Y7K

This shot from the news is amusing. Is more doctors actually more comforting? Makes me more nervous.

  11. Then bent shifter route is actually pretty simple. That would do it for you. You just need a torch, or take it to a shop and have it done. Here's an example.
  12. That is super-close. Don't do anything drastic. Have you been driving the car much? Have you given it a good hard run or two? Your first post in this thread shows that you've basically rebuilt the engine. The rings are probably not even seated yet, so some of that "richness" showing could just be oil burning.
  13. The earlys can sell for good money. Got any pictures? Check your serial numbers, numbers-matching means much to many. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1971-datsun-240z-126/

Eleven important people got COVID at the same time, maybe from the same event, and only one is in the hospital and has already received two experimental drugs. Not sure what to make of that. Bueller...Bueller...Bueller... Just joking, but the theory is already floating around (it actually came across my mind before I saw the mainstream news). Nobody knows what's really happening.

  16. Did you try tapping on the pump while it had power? Sometimes they get stuck and you can break them free.
  17. The 260Z was carbs, the 280Z is EFI. The hoses are metric. Make sure you get high pressure EFI hose for anything after the pump.

No need for apologies. The urge is very strong. Here's another for the score sheet. I'd say you can't make this stuff up, but this story was written and waiting to be published. https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/519454-trump-campaign-manager-tests-positive-for-covid-19
  21. I hanged (hung?) a hoist from my garage rafters and rolled the car back and forth. People generally hate to read that but if you know how rafters work it can be safe. Spread the load and know the loads is the key.

Might as well follow this elephant around and see where it goes...

Nah, I said "too serious". Making fun of one man's plight, when 200,000 plus other real people have died because of it just doesn't work. Makes it all seem normal when really it does border on insanity. He'll probably survive, call him healed in a week or two, while another 7,000 - 14,000 citizens have died in the meantime. And, probably, nothing will change. Nothing is changing now.
