Maybe you are just projecting your habit of gloating onto me. How does this sound, " Oh my God I am so scared, I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die, I'm gonna....go wait in line to buy toilet paper." I would still have to be a born coward to be afraid of something as inevitable as death.

On that note, I have accepted to not take that pain into myself for survivals sake. Obviously I won't know what will really transpire until it happens but I have already been through death processing a couple times in this life. I was not made to psychically process mass amounts of death period. I can't do it without going completely round the bend. I live in a culture that seems to be telling me my heart has to bleed for everyone no matter how far removed from my frame of reference. Well my bleeding heart is all bled out and I refuse to do it. Death and destruction are as much a part of life as life and creation. I have no control so I have no choice but to accept.

Well it is 6 mos. or more because it just happened that way. I used to be a professional chef and know something about stretching food and more importantly, not wasting a thing. Food production is out of my immediate control and food is still safe & plentiful. My family is good for at least 6 mos. with our current supplies if the supply chain is cut. I am prepared as I can be for this and that is not just in the obvious external ways. I wonder how many people are feeling the hard slap of reality snapping them in the face right about now? I wonder how many people are confronting their mortalities and it is filling them with fear because they have never dealt with it before? I wonder how many people are looking at themselves in the mirror and saying to themselves, " Uh oh, I have really let myself go and now I am ripe pickings for a pandemic that I was never prepared for." "Maybe I should have lost that 50 lbs. Maybe I should have quit smoking. Maybe I should have lightened up on the booze and the dope". I have been preparing for this since way before it showed up. For me there is never an excuse to not be prepared.

Watching President Trump at a press conference putting forth the proposition that the government might be able to get an "equity stake" in businesses which will benefit from the proposed economic stimulus. Reminded me of something...oh yeah , here it is;

Observing what is happening at food distribution points, could it be that people around here were...unprepared for earthquakes as well? "We’ve created a system that is fragile". "Conspiracy theory" is a misnomer. Why? theory. [ thē′ə-rē, thîr′ē ] A set of statements or principles devised to explain a group of facts or phenomena. Most theories that are accepted by scientists have been repeatedly tested by experiments and can be used to make predictions about natural phenomena. See Note at hypothesis. There is nothing theoretical about any so- called conspiracy "theories". It's a way for conspiracy supporters to tell themselves and others; " Look at me, I don't support any mainstream views, 'cause I am too smart for that". They fail to realize that they now believe every "alternative fact" no matter how ridiculous (flat earth anyone)?

Yes I have seen the pictures. BMW bumper guards had rubber back into the early 60's. I guess the question for me now is who was being more derivative, BMW or Datsun?

The one up top is a front bumper could be found on a BMW 68-73 E3 BAVARIA 2500 2800 3.0 3.3 The one behind it is a '73 240z. Thematically they seem to be on the same page, surprisingly the steel is the same gauge but I would be surprised if they were made of identical steel. The BMW bumper is much more stout and the better quality is evident, I guess the late 60's early 70's Japanese production philospophy of "How cheap can we make it and how much can we make?" was in play.

I neutralize the muriatic acid with a strong base. Any industrial strength greasecutter is great for this.

Up to 8.71 the console with the ashtray was installed in the 240z. After that was the other console version with the switch plate. Another way to be absolutely sure: whatever one fits in your vehicle as they are not interchangeable.

I am seeing 1/2 of a 280z tail light in this iteration. Not seeing a hatch glass rubber though, just steel trim. Are we looking at glass or plastic?
