I agree with the previous comment. The Z handles the corners too well for him to keep up. This may be a dumb question but I assume the vette has power steering? I assume it is possible to add power steering to a 240?

I guess I am one of the few that likes spiders. My own web design company uses a spider for a logo.:classic: It's fascinating to me that these little spiders can build such intricate and complex webs. Snakes I can do without. Plenty of Rattlers down here and would not want to run into one of them. As for the bees or yellowjackets I have been stung so many times I lost count. Stung on my lower lip once looked like Mick jagger. My mother was stung inside her ear once and I would guess that has to be one of the worst places to get stung. Also stung by the same bee twice. Stung my chest and I hit my chest instinctivly and the other half of the stinger went into the palm of my hand talk about bad luck.

As a resident of Florida I agree this state sucks for Z cars. Must be the salt in the air? I dont know but alot of them are rust buckets when you find one here.

I have a few friends in this business that deal with auctions every week. The dealers and or auto brokers always pay less than what they are advertising when they sell the car obviously to make profits. You would be surprised that sometimes they get these cars dirt cheap since private owners will have brokers take their cars to the auction just to get rid of it or get what they can since they have a new car to pay for. I would much rather deal with an auto broker than a car salesman at a dealership since they seem to be more straightforward with me. A majority of the time the blue book price is not to far off as a starting point so go a little less than that. take maybe a grand or two off.

So far I have only had one accident in all my years of driving. I have to admit my front bumper did some damage. My Z did a little hyrdo-plane action on me when I hit the brakes on a wet road and slammed into the back of a mini-van. I would say easily $500 in body repairs for the van. No damage to my car though - lucky for me:classic:

Old people for one - Driving 15mph in a 45Mph zone. I also hate anyone who owns a Saturn or a Dodge Peon I mean Neon. For some reason all the owners of these vehicles think they have a fast car.

I had a few problems with mine as well. I wedged a bar on the floorboard to hold my break pedal down while I checked the tailights. I moved the bulb around and it would flash on then back off. Sometimes the sockets for the bulbs need to be replaced. On one side I had to splice the wires to connect a new socket connection and it solved the problem.

Hines Ward is a solid veteran receiver and Plaxico Burress finally started producing last year . Correct me if I am wrong but they both had over 1000 yards last year. We also picked up Terrance Mathis in the off season another veteran receiver. Now the man to look out for is the rookie we picked up "Randle El" performed well in the pre-season and has lethal speed. Kordell calls him Mini-Me. The only problem with this team is in the Red Zone. They need to convert TD's instead of field goals. Other than that they are solid all around. We open with the Patriots and Raiders so we will see right away what they are made of this year.

I dont think they all sound the same but I have come across a few that did have this distinctive sound you are referring too. Seems to be the 1985 year range Mustang GT's. I dont like stangs too much but some of them do have a mean little sound to them.

Mine does not handle like a boat. If I ever come across one I will let you know. I would not be intimidated by one or afraid to race to find out. I think the early 300's are sleds myself and would never own one win or lose.

According to Nissan a 280z 5 speed with FI has 170 Hp. I dont think I could beat one but would not be far behind. Would be fun to try if I ever get the chance just out of curiousity. With carbs I would say no way also.
