  1. Got to be Road Atlanta. I’ve always loved those first generation Mazda RX7’s…
  2. The runners are so short! What is it they say? Short for HP, long for torque? I don’t remember? as for too pretty to run, if Duffy’s past predicts his future, it’s probably already running!
  3. No. Singer builds cars and sells watches. damn it! Duffy! Now you’ve got me thinking about ITB’s! 😡
  4. No tuition? How do I get paid???
  5. Being a professor. What was supposed to be 12 hours a week has been 50 lately. 🫣
  6. Road Atlanta 1977. Taken by Paul Woodbury. Different Drummer Racing. Where is it now?
  7. Kind of a sexy Z behind Newman…
  8. I think the fuel shut off in the 77 was actually an orientation thing. If the car was upside down, the fuel was shut off. Porsche’s burn down a lot more often I think. Particularly carburetor models. personally, I don’t think the 280Z system is that vulnerable to fire as in a perfect world, which you should maintain, it’s a closed system with no fuel exposure. You’re more likely to have an electrical fire.
  9. Not Z related, but this guy got me started loving cars… RIP to George Maharis - 94 died today.
  10. Duff, im confused. Aren’t you using DBW?
  11. Still no problems.
  12. Nice Corvette, but check out the background…
  13. It should be about 10psi per 1000rpm. So idle might look very low. The needle should move with revs but more of a rise and hold. If it is doing this, quit looking at the gauge. It sounds like you don’t have a problem.
