There are some good lines left on 721. Call Doug at Awesome Z to find out what is good. 281.219.0015

If you insure your drains are good, you shouldn't have to worry excessively about rust under the cowl.

I think so. Don't have an address handy for them. Give 'em a Google, too.

It's pretty easy, and you don't need to pull the dizzy, even though that would make an easier job of it. And don't buy THAT VA unit 'cause it's not for an S30.QUOTE=UR2H;402181]I was wondering if replacing the vacuum advance was a relatively easy task and also how it's done (do I need to remove the distributor, disassemble the distributor, etc.)? I think mine is busted - doesn't hold any vacuum whatsoever (used a vacuum pump). I apologize if this topic has already been gone through before, I wasn't able to find any specific threads on it. And just to clarify, this is the vacuum advance correct? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Standard-Motor-Products-VC351-Distributor-Vacuum-Advance-Nissan-200ZX-/190662110088?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2c6458eb88&vxp=mtr#ht_506wt_1139 Was planning on purchasing this one. Can't seem to find any elsewhere?
  7. The radiator support bracket on 721 was painted black.
  8. Let the air out of the front tires . Seriously, you shouldn't have to worry too much about that.
  9. Don't forget to cap the tranny where the driveshaft plugs in! You'll have a large mess if you don't.

Check your fuel vent line. If it is kinked, blocking off air, you could be getting vacuum fuel starvation.
  11. Go to a decent hardware store and find a reducer, the external threads of which will match your housing and the internal threads which will match your temp sensor.

I had a sticking cylinder whe 721 was still around. The bad caliper was on the right and would not compress causing a leftward pull... And no, it wasn't a Democrat.
  13. Nicely done, Matt. Is that an uncapped tube protruding from the center of your carb balance tube?

You can find replacement vinyl easily. MSA and black dragon are just two places to start.

I have similar mirrors. They are not large enough to provide an adequate view, IMO.
  20. The mounts won't work due to the difference in the glasses. The Sentra mirrors have the stem type adjustment levers which I had to cut off. I've made a stiff-paper mock up of the conceived bracket for a fabricator to use as either a pattern or design concept. I should have the car back from Doug on Friday. I'll pm you with my address.
  21. I've had zero problems with Pertronix, Nate. You might wish to give that system a look-see. And it's considerably less costly than what you seem to have planned.
  22. Bought a pair of '89 - '90 Sentra Sport Coupe mirrors to install. Bracket fabrication is required. Has anyone done this mirror conversion before? If so, can you provide any advice, tips, etc.? Thanks!
