  1. My flux capacitor must be broken...

She has fresh oil and antifreeze. Tank is full with gas and Stabil (I ran it to pull the treated gas through the lines) I even bought brand new jackstands. That battery is coming out entirely and probably never going back in. That battery is on it's way out anyway. The only thing she needs is to be gone over with some detailer to get the little bits of stuff off the paint from being on the road today. . And you're right, EScanlon, my friends don't understand because they don't love their cars. Some one told me yesterday that I am an objectofile, insinuating that I am sexually attracted to objects. I said "no, I'm an automobilofile. There's a difference" :lick:
  3. TonyD: That car makes me happy!

I always do. Unless I have bad tires, then I don't care. The Delorean was left down last year with pretty nasty tires and they held up okay. But with the Z, I'd rather take the precaution.

The type of cover I chose does have the pores and breathes pretty well so I think I'll be okay. I expected to get a response along the lines of "You're a nut. It's just a car." That's what my friends told me anyway.

Never stored a Z before. I assume it's jsut like storing the DeLorean (except that one will never rust) I have a car cover for it but I am scared to use it. My garage is not heated or insulated. My question is, if I use that cover when I'm not playing with her, is that going to trap moisture underneath and aid in rusting? Or am I being outrageously paranoid?
  7. This is my baby, Kharma.
  8. I mean the high intensity discharge plasma bulbs with the independant control box for each bulb. The real ones. Which reminds me, does anyone need a set of blue h4 bulbs? They came with the casings I bought.

Of course I do. If you have a Z, I love you!
  10. Oh the E-Type. I met a brown one once and fell in love!!! That's almost what happens when the Delorean comes out. She draws a crowd almost instantly. But still, I get almost as much attention in the Z. However, we live in a small town about an hour south of Chicago with a population that isn't exactly rich. So when people see something other than a Dodge Neon, it makes them happy.
  11. Agreed! I'm out, too. Canada looks pretty good. I got a truck if you want help moving.

That's not nice Matthew. Leave AutoZone out of this... You know I love you.
  13. Well, I just put those H.I.D.'s in her and they are walking the fence on being too bright. But I would rather have the clear ones. And the edge I was talking about is that continuation of the body line. Which the more I look at, I begin to appreciate. But I don't think I like that crome lip though....
  14. That's happened to you too????? That's awesome. I got pulled over a few days after I got the car with no plates and all he wanted to know was "what kind of car is that?" It seems like everytime I take the car out, some one notices. Sometimes they're young kids, sometime they're older people who remember the car. Being that rust thrives up here in nw Indiana, there aren't many classic Z's left. So people get excited to see them. It seems the car is well recieved by everyone. The only semi-negative thing someone has ever said was "Little-miss-trying-to-be-a-Porche" And I told him I got rid of two of those cars for a reason.
  15. I have decided to put them on my Z. Which oes are the best to get? And does such a thing exist as headlight covers without that edge in them? You know, just smooth ones? Anyway, I need some suggestions.

  17. That doesnt look like a z to me. I know it is, but it looks funny... But oh how awesome!
  18. I'm so happy for you. My heart was broekn and I cound not stop thinking about it. No matter what she looks like, she's back!!!

Someone saw the Z tattoo on my arm and said "So you're a big Dragon Ball Z fan are ya?" ugh...
  21. That breaks my heart! You called her by name. I cry for you.

I think about my cars during sex all the time. That's just part of it. My cars are hot and they turn me on. Oh the naughty things I would do to them if they were human. :devious: And I SO want that frame!!!

*Darbji raises her hand* Yes it's cramped but the passenger seat has lots of leg room and I have the removable sunroof. Oh yeah, the Delorean, too. However that's much more difficult.
  24. uuuuuummmmm..... I think I may be purchasing some stock zx wheel here pretty soon. I am going to wait until I find exactly what I want and in prestine condition before I spend any incredible amount of money. I just need something that's not as hideous as the wheels I have now. Plus the car is going up for the winter in the next week so I'm depressed and my eagerness has lightened up. I love you guys for remembering me. That's important to us female types.
  25. Wow! He wants ten times what I paid for my Z!!! She is gorgeous though! And PRESTINE! But wow, that's a lot of money!!!! I could buy several slightly more flawed Z's. And God knows, you can never have to many Z's.
