  1. Is anyone open to the idea of trading their 82-83 280ZX Turbo for a '78 280Z? I'm looking for a mostly stock turbo car to maintain, drive on the weekends, keep up with and tinker with. My current Z is more designed to modify for track or engine swap or build to your liking. Rust free example from Southern Cali / Arizona. Located in Fort Worth, TX and willing to drive within 5 hours.

  4. I have seen photos of a lot of restorations where the replacement hard brake lines are not precise enough to fit inside the rubber frame mount bushings in the engine bay. Has anyone bought brake lines & fuel lines from classictube.com? Are the bends precise enough to fit in the existing frame mounts? Thanks

They weren't even supposed to be in the playoff. Trump must have had a hand in it.... Still...enjoy. I though Saban was coaching LSU anyway... zing
  6. Hi grannyknot, thank you for your info & support - your proposed solution is clearly Plan B for the inner fender and will be needed to bring the lower frame section in the right place again - if I could manage to get a good total part I would invest in it (incl. shipping) ... Kind regards, Chris

I did the same thing with a piece of my front window trim. Could not straighten it.This is what it looked like after I stopped the buffer.
  9. Then the rear brakes got attention. Again the goal here was to get this thing running and driving: Where we started Linings where crumbling and the wheel cylinders where definitely leaking. New shoes and all new cylinders with hardware installed. New hardlines from the axle and new SS hoses installed The old drums where shot so I had to get new steel ones The Finished off the rear by painting the rear hub for vanity.
