  1. Nice. I'm glad you didn't put them on top of the trash can to take the pictures. I read somewhere that has caused problems in the past ...
  2. Hi, ClassicZCars community. Our 21st annual Z-Car show has a new date and location. It’s Saturday, May 14th at Anaheim Stadium. We chose a different date so as not to conflict with other shows, and a larger space to accommodate more cars. In addition to Z-Cars from 1970 to 2016, we’re also inviting Nissan Skylines, GTRs, 510's, and Roadsters. Best of all, entering one or more in the show is free. This is a “thank you” to the Z community for all your support over the years. We have a weekend of special events planned. More information will be posted soon. In the meantime, check our website for show details at thezstore.com. Thanks.
  3. Next is the cutting and the butt welding etc. Notice the panel is all held in with cleco clips for quick removal!
  4. Continued on with the fitting...
  5. I have just placed an order with McMaster Carr for both the SS wire and phosphate coated carbon steel wire above. I will report back with my observations of both products after I receive them.
  6. 1 point
had a good day today for some reason, photobucket isnt letting me post links base coat first 3 pics, then clear. i do have a bit of dust that will need to be taken care of, but after that it is going to look pretty sweet.
  7. After 6 years nearly done!
  8. Long day. My friend didn't show. So I cut what was left of the screws off and drilled them out. I got the holes as straight as I could, and retapped threads into them. I installed the new injectors with new o-rings, screws and lock washers. I got the new FPR in, and got the fuel rail back together. What a pain. If I ever have to take that apart again, I'm switching to a Pallnet rail, or will pay someone else to do it. Anyway, all that's left is wiring and a few vacuum lines. But my back is killing me from stooping over the car all day. So I stopped for today.
