What goes here? Some sort of vent or something? Resembles the same plastic off the Rear end and Transmission vents.

You might dig the rest out and put one of these in.

2nd thought. Probably easier to put a smaller one inside the remaining plastic.

Thank you sir! I always try and search for what I am looking for but I am horrible at finding! I appreciate the help.

If your 71 Z was made in 1970 what you see on the P/S steering rack might be the plastic threads of the original grease reservoir that broke off.  If that is the case you should be able to turn it out and replace with a threaded plug.

This is what it looked like,

Another good option to replacing the reservoir is installing a zerk fitting to grease the rack.

Done and done. I ordered some metric fittings. Put a standard one in place so I could paint it but it didn’t seem to want to thread in there very well.
