 Probably not too weird if you don't own the car or bought it to flip it. However, he or she states "my 1981 Datsun 280z". A true owner-driver would know the difference, IMO.

Not really. Lots of "Dotsuns" and "240ZXs" out there, too.

Maybe I'm just a cynical old F---  but when I see that I assume he knows the 280z is more desirable than the ZX and is deliberately mislableing  in hopes of getting more newbies out to see the car.  No offence intended to you ZX guys.

You see that in craigslist ads that feel like the car’s sat in the yard for so long, no one’s exactly sure what it is or why it’s there. It’s like the ZX designation was just a trim option or something ...

Here’s another one that gets to me ?
