15 X 7.5 +8 ???

Featured Replies

I am looking at some Watanabes 15 X 7.5 with a +8 offset.

I have a totally stock 73 240Z and wonder if this would rub on the wheels wells/fenders?

My other choice is a nice Panasport 15 X 7 with 0 offset.

Any help?  thanks.

I bet they fit perfect actually . Positive offset should be enough to keep the tires off the lips.

Thanks

I have 7.5" slotted mags now and they rub in the rear ever so slightly on the fender lip...but I do not know the offset.

Anybody else have the wheel size in question?

What size are the tires on your slots?  I'm away from home now and that's where the tires are but they rubbed too.  I'll post the size as soon as I can.  EDIT: 185/75x14 was the tire size that rubbed.

This is the only picture I have before putting the OE wheels and tires on.

I have 15x7 Rewinds, 0 offset, with 205/50s on my orange car.  They fit without rubbing and keep the same stance as the originals, under the fenders and low.

Okay, I wonder if that same size on a stock 240 like mine would work...is there any difference in clearances in a 280?

Koenig rewinds $480 for the set, cant beat that price. I sourced the Watanabe caps from Japan

If I've already ask, I'm sorry but are those the black satin rewinds from msa? Not too long after I bought graphite they came up with those. I like them. They look real good on your silver car.

Thanks. Cliff

Cliff, yep MSA, it was a demo set that were like $450 with free shipping. I had to do a little dremmel work to get those Watanabe caps to fit.
