Why are there humps on the passenger's side of my console? Is eveybodies like mine or do I have the wrong one? I can't figure out the purpose.

Perfectly normal. Would have to ask the designer to understand why. 

How about not seeing two humps, but rather as one indent for the hand brake.

I believe an once would fit by the e-brake. Quarter bag by the shifter. 

But then they got dogs..

Used to be "you can't outrun a Motorola".

Now "you won't get past the dogs".
