What is an e31 worth. Found one for sale $250.00??????

Is that the one in Tacoma on CL?

I sold one for $250 that needed to be rebuilt, so I'd say thats fair. 

Yes I stopped by there yesterday and picked up some misc pieces by trading some unneeded inventory. He was asking $300 and dropped the price to $250. I passed because I wasn't really looking for one. So sounds like he was in the ball park.

Mine is worth a lot more. Of course, it was ported and polished and had big valves installed by BC Gerolomy in the 1970's so... (insert evil grin here!) 

About ten years ago I purchased a never-been-used E31 with bigger valves for my L26 and I paid $500. I felt that this was a good price for an unused head. The thing to watch out for is warping and how much the head has been shaved, almost a certainty for a 45 year old aluminum head. You will have to bring it to a good machine shop for the measurements.
