Wow. Not even close to any Z. The car on the box does look like a Toronado. The actual model looks more like a new Camaro with an old chrome Pontiac Judge grille.

I thought at first the box was a misprint, but then both the car pictured on the box and the actual model have a "FairladyZ" decal on the hood so they clearly meant to call it that. Still have no idea why.......

Other than both having two doors and four wheels, not much else is the same.  Fun collector item, however.  It's kind of like the bootleg record albums that were made in Taiwan in the 1970s.  I remember a Johnny Cash country album with the picture of a Black singer on the record sleeve.
