Diseazd said a friend of his bought it, back in June 2015, mostly for the rust-free body.  Said he's going to rebuild the engine anyway.  His posts are in one of the linked threads.

So where did the Z they used in the show end up now ?

Huh? Kansas? It has a arcadia datsun license plate frame and 70's blue and gold plates on it.  Is this hollywood smoke and mirrors?

Are you talking about where it came from or where it went?  Smoke and mirrors is assumed.

Ive seen this episode a while back and if memory serves the biggest issue I have that comes to mind was the mechanic re using the old rockers and if your going to do that then keep them identified PISTON 1 intake / PISTON 1 exhaust.  But whatever the new owners will have reference via the episode to learn what not to do and why they can not get those noisy valves adjusted correctly. It will be quite for a couple days after a adjustment perhaps.

Never mind.  And the version in the link below is gone, apparently.

Funny thing though - California Datsun has changed screen name to URGELIS.  Odd.

Isn't that the third name I have heard him using. It was something else before Califonia datsun llc, can't remember what it was though.

I think Bart purchased some parts from him and was happy with it. It might be hit and miss. If you like gambling...

If you're a gambler you have to "know when to run"

zcardepot.com hurt that man!

I bet Al buys from zcardepot and resales.  He has a rear disc conversion for $200 more than zcardepot, nice finder's fee for the ignorant.
