Not Z related but I stumbled on to this site today and it's pretty fantastic.

There's some interesting reading on that site. I also liked the bits about show cars at the end of the model listings. They do show a Z and mention that it replaced the roadster.

That site is bad, very bad. I need to go to work and it won't let me. Love that 65 Silvia though.

Correct in the case of the B680X, but incorrect in the case of the L20 itself.

 

Lots of other small inaccuracies on earlydatsun.com. Be careful of single-source, non peer-group critiqued websites. Best to cross-reference from multiple independent sources.

The Silvia stuff is a bit Geortz centric, for me, missing the Japanese side of things. But overall site is a nice starting point covering the early Nissan range
