1969 HLS30-00182 on Ebay

I've seen auctions where the reserve is set high and the seller colludes with a buyer to drive up the bids. If their fish take the bait the reserve is dropped at the last minute and the colluding buyer stops bidding, leaving the fish with the highest bid. I'm not saying that's what happened here.

The same little game happens at the big muscle car auctions.

The seller says sale fell through, so the $17,600 must have been over the reserve number. No new pictures though, still hiding the front end damage.

I guess this statement doesn't hold true now, "I am going to offer this car in as is condition one time". :)

Just because it sold for that much doesn't mean the buyer will reject the sale once the vehicle arrives

And must be sold from a Beverly Hills address.

This seller does not live in Beverly Hills, CA by the way. He lives in West Los Angeles.

He is a street broker selling Trucks and cars on Ebay.
