Apologies if this car is a member's. It's a 78. Even the 240Z classics are't getting close to $10,000.

19k in parts and that doesn't even buy a carpet kit and rear window gasket?

He's getting an education in car restoration. When you pay for expensive labor charges you

only get pennies on the dollar back.

I bought a 78 that came with over 20k in receipts. I paid 4800 for it and it was in much better

shape than this one. One receipt was for 4K at the datsun dealer. They replaced all seals in

the motor and replaced the fuel injectors.

I doubt that he will get anywhere near that in Portland but who knows he may find a (insert your own description here) who will part with that kind of cash for this car. I doubt he will be very busy giving test rides though.

I've got pretty much the same car, runs good just needs a paint job, with only $3,000 out of pocket and $20 of that is in Band-Aids and Neosporin.
