Anyone got some oldie but goodie pictures of their early Z's? Mine was purchased in 1970....silver on black until it was tailgated in Atlanta. Great memories then....and now!

Here is a before and two after photos of my first Zed, circa 1980!

Autocross in the late 80s at the Oakland Colesium and the De Anza autocross with my brother. The Scott Performance L28 when new. On the first picture you can see where I hit a cone and knocked half the Datsun emblem off and the magnetic F in FP askew.

mid 80's working on 240z and a new 84 300zx turbo..

My first 240Z in 1979, an 8/1971. Had it about 3 years at this point. Already had painted it back to the original orange with imron. Still remember where the rust was that I fixed with the first body work I attempted, used rad iator hose with sandpaper wrapped around it for the wheel arches. Good running car. Dyno'd at some point at 121 HP (all stock). I'd take this one back in a minute.

Here's my 240Z as it looked before it was lowered, side molding removed, front airdam added, new hood, early 240Z front bumper swapped, painted and new 16" wheels added:

This picture was taken on my 20th birthday at my brothers house in Boston, IN. We had owned the Z for less than a year at that time.

Good old polaroid camera!

This is my racing kart taken in 1971. The Kart was a Hornet Sidewinder with a Comet K88 125CC engine running alcohol.

This is my 00029 Z, I believe taken in 1978 at IRP Campaign Sprints.

Note the flower shirt and bell bottoms!

The skinny boy is my brother, a 3rd degree black belt. I'm the chunkier guy on the right, and it's only been downhill from there
