How Many Z Drivers Also Own BMWs?

Featured Replies

We used to have -02 320D stw, it was a very good car to drive, with sport suspension and all the nice feats. BUT it was very expensive to upkeep (2000$ worth of repairs in FIRST month we drove it) so after 9 months (and 20.000 kilometers) we changed it to diesel 2004 Corolla. Its slow, and ugly but reliable as hell.

I had a really nice 88 M3 and several 2002s. I still have a 72 2002tii and 74 2002turbo.

I think there really is something to this dual ownership thing. I own three early Z cars (71, 72, 74), a 2001 740i and a 1986 635 CSi. Though there are really no similarities from a styling point of view, maybe the appeal is in them both being driver's cars with great design.

My 2005 X5 is just now getting broken in - and yes - I bought it new - it's been a fantastic work car.

Found a deal I could not refuse on a 2012 X6 (Jet Black / Black) - gotta get it shipped from Boston after the frankenstorm is over - pic's to follow once shipped to NC. Keeping the X5 - too good of a car to trade and too many miles left to drive - she will make a great truck for my wife.

Peabody BMW - a great bunch of folks up north to deal with.

Nice addition to the family, Mitchell. I liked the X6 body style when they were first introduced. Black is definitely the way to go... :)
