Reproduction S30 fresh air intakes

Featured Replies

Question,

His listing on eBay is Buy It Now for $75.00. Is that for a pair of elbows or just one?

Edited by mgmoreau

Just received mine,,,,,WOW! They're perfect.......I hope he runs another 50 sets(maybe 100).....they're that good!!!

I met Adam yesterday, a nice guy.

I gave him one seat cushion guard for his analysis. We spoke of other parts; throttle control handle, radio face plate, inspection lid clip (plastic, not later metal type) and some other parts. Patience is the key in determining the cost of reproduction and potential market.

It looks like the guy that had these made stopped selling them on ebay and MSA started selling them for $74.95 about the same time http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/SBC1A09/30-8062. I guess our friend Al bought some from MSA and decided to jack up the price and resell them on ebay with a starting price of $100 (although he refers to them as "Fresh Air Ducks"LOL:stupid:. I was really surprised to see this set sell for $152.50 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160562281866&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT. People need to do a little research before just bidding on something they haven't seen before. They could have bought two sets for that much.

This is a little side-related, but where did the 280Z have the intake for the floor vents? I have the round holes in the radiator support, but not the oval holes in the fender.
